The Genius Behind the Piano Concerto: On Mozart’s Masterpieces

by on , under Arts and Entertainments, Music

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart demonstrated an extraordinary artistry from his early childhood in Salzburg. Already adequate on violin and keyboard, he wrote from the age of five and performed in front European royal house.

At 17 he was involved as a court instrumentalist in Salzburg, but turned uneasy and moved in search of a greater status, constantly writing profusely. While traveling to Vienna in 1781, he was discharged from his Salzburg office.

He opted to remain in the capital, where he accomplished fame but small financial security. During his last years in Vienna, he wrote numerous of his notable symphonic music, concertos, and operas, and components of the Requiem, which was for the most part incomplete at the time of Mozart’s death.

The considerations of his premature end have been often mythologized. He was endured by his wife Constanze and two sons. The Mozart piano concertos relate to the thirty concertos for piano and orchestra composed by Mozart.

These works, some of which Mozart wrote for himself to execute in the Vienna concert series of 1784–86, obtained an extraordinary place for him; indeed, Mozart’s father evidently disrupted him writing a ‘harpsichord concerto’ at age four.

For an extended time comparatively overlooked, they have occurred to be determined as bearing several of his outstanding accomplishments.
