Call Centers in Makati

The Makati Central Business District is home to many of the largest call centers in the Philippines. In fact, many of the earliest call centers in the country were established and have their head offices in Makati. Due to the large number of call centers located in this city, we can only list some of the largest located here.

Convergys

The company has its headquarters in Ohio with 79 contact centers all over the world. Convergys opened its first call center in the Philippines in 2003. At present, the company has nine sites in the Philippines, with six located in Metro Manila. They have employed more than 15,000 Filipinos in various agent and non-agent positions in their contact centers. Convergys now operates in its own Convergys One Building on Ayala Avenue, Makati City.

People Support

At the corner of Ayala Avenue and Gil Puyat Avenue is the People Support Center where the company handles all of its Manila operations. The company offers customer management, accounts receivable management, captioning, transcription and other BPO services to many international customers. Some of their clients belong to the telecommunications, financial services, travel and hospitality, insurance, entertainment and medical industries. The People Support Headquarters are located in Los Angeles, California and the company also has contact centers in some parts of the United States and in Costa Rica.

eTelecare

With six contact centers in the Philippines employing more than 10,000 employees, eTelecare is one of the largest call centers in the country. The company received several awards for its excellence in personnel and employee management. Its second contact center, which is located in Makati, may be found at the PBCom Tower on Ayala Avenue. More than 2000 employees work at the Makati site as they provide sales and customer service to their clients.

Sykes Asia

Sykes is one of the oldest call centers in the country. It launched its first site in Pasig City with only 16 employees in 1997. In 2002, due to the company’s continued expansion, it opened its second contact center at the Robinson’s Summit Building in Makati City. At present the company has two sites in Makati, one in Pasig, one in Quezon City and one in Cebu serving more than 30 clients in more than 15 languages.

Advanced Contact Solutions

Established in 1996, the Advanced Contact Solutions is one of the pioneers in the call center industry in the country catering to local clients. As the company continues to grow, it has expanded to serving foreign clients located in US, UK, Canada and Australia. The ACS offices may be found at the ACS Plaza at the corner of Tordesillas and Gil Puyat Avenue in Makati.
